September Discovery Celebration
Today we celebrate shared looking, pointing, speaking, and staying safe—without asking Amara to perform or display an achievement.
Today's Approach
Amara is about 2 years and 5 months old. Keep each guided activity to 3–8 minutes. Looking, pointing, using one word or gesture, joining one gentle clap, or declining all count. Warm connection is unconditional and is never exchanged for performance.

How to use it
Print on portrait A4 paper with “Fit to page,” or show it full-screen. Use only the poster. Point to one shared-discovery card and enjoy it together. Do not create a performance, presentation, quiz, certificate, prize, or required demonstration.
Goals
- Chinese: understand “注意、说一说、注意安全、看一看、指一指、庆祝.”
- English: meet
notice,speak,stay safe,look,point, andcelebrate. - Reflection: experience September learning as shared noticing rather than a result to prove.
- Early math: touch exactly one star, two books, and three hearts in the bottom row.
- Movement: optionally share one gentle clap or high-five while an adult follows the child's cue.
Materials
- Only the A4 teaching picture above.
- No book, star, heart token, certificate, gift, food reward, badge, or display material is required.
1. Chinese Picture Talk
Time: 5–8 minutes.
- “九月里，我们一起看过很多图片。”
- “看、指、说一个词，都值得被听见。”
- “靠近大人、注意安全，也很重要。”
- “今天只是一起开心，不用展示会了什么。”
Pause after one sentence and follow Amara's attention.
2. English Time
Time: 3–5 minutes.

Model: We looked together. We celebrate together. No imitation is required.
3. Early Math: Star, Books, Hearts
Time: 3–5 minutes.
- Under 1, touch the one star.
- Under 2, touch the two books separately.
- Under 3, touch the three hearts separately.
Do not count pages, people, fingers, flowers, birds, or upper pictures.
4. Gentle Movement: One Shared Celebration
Time: less than 1 minute within a 3–5 minute calm interaction.
Offer an open palm for an optional gentle high-five, or clap softly once beside Amara. Follow her cue and keep hands away if she declines. No loud cheering, lifting, spinning, or forced touch.
5. Life Skill: Connection Is Not a Reward
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Say: “无论今天看不看、说不说，我都喜欢和你在一起。” / You do not have to show me anything. Comfort, attention, and celebration remain available without completing a task.
No Performance-for-Reward Exchange
Do not ask Amara to demonstrate learning, answer a set of questions, perform for others, or earn affection, food, gifts, screen time, stickers, certificates, or applause. Keep celebration calm, optional, physically safe, and centred on connection.
