Today we combine a person, an action, and a place into small pieces of meaning.
Today's Approach
Amara is about 2 years and 6 months old. Keep each part to 3–8 minutes and use only the two posters and audio. Looking, pointing, acting, one word, pausing, or declining all count. The adult models the complete message without asking for a complete sentence.

Goals
- Chinese: meet “谁、做什么、在哪里.”
- English: meet
who,reads,where, andlibrary. - Early math: count 1 child, 2 books, and 3 cushions on the main poster.
- Communication: allow one piece of a sentence to carry meaning.
- Life skill: notice that an adult accompanies children in public places.
Materials
- The two A4 posters and English audio.
- No books, cushions, or role-play figures are needed.
1. Chinese Picture Talk
Time: 5–8 minutes.
Model in three beats: “谁？孩子。做什么？看书。在哪里？图书馆。” Then combine it: “孩子在图书馆看书。” Choose only one extension row. A point, action, or single place word is complete communication.
2. English Time
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Transcript:
English time. Listen, look, or point. Who? A child. Does what? Reads. Where? In the library. The child reads in the library. You may look or point.
Pause after Who?, Reads., and In the library. Do not request a full-sentence repetition.
3. Math 1 / 2 / 3
Time: 3–5 minutes. Count only 1 child, 2 books, and 3 cushions in the main poster's bottom row. Ignore bookshelves, fingers, and the extension poster.
4. Movement & Life
Time: 3–5 minutes. While seated, the adult mimes opening a book once and points to the place card. Amara may copy, watch, or stay still. Adults may model daily sentences without asking the child to produce one.
Safety & Privacy
An adult accompanies children in the library and park scenes. Describe picture roles only; do not prompt for or publish real names, addresses, nursery details, or family locations.
Bedtime
Point to one scene and let the adult provide one short sentence. Amara may listen or select another.
