Science Discovery Review
Today two A4 posters revisit six science-picture ideas, with Amara choosing what to view and for how long.
Today's Approach
Amara is about 2 years and 6 months old. Keep each activity to 3–8 minutes. Looking at any picture, pointing to one detail, making one gesture, saying one word, pausing, or declining all count. Review is not a test.

How to use them
Print each on portrait A4 paper. Let Amara choose one poster, then follow her gaze. There is no need to cover every card or complete a sequence.
Goals
- Chinese: revisit “光和影子、声音来源、植物需要、动物移动、白天夜晚、条件影响变化.”
- English: hear the phrases again without a memory demand.
- Science: distinguish picture examples from universal rules.
- Early math: count one sun, two ears, and three leaves on poster one.
- Learning disposition: practise choice, pausing, and stopping.
Materials
- The two posters and audio only.
- No physical object.
1. Chinese Picture Talk
Say: “这周我们看过光和影子、声音从哪里来、植物的一般需要、动物移动、白天和夜晚，还有东西可能怎样变化。”
Invite once: “你想先看哪一格？” Add only one or two sentences about her chosen card.
2. English Time

English time. Listen, look, or point. Let us review our science pictures. Light and shadow. Gentle sound sources. Different plant needs. Animals move. Day and night. Change depends on conditions. Choose any picture, or stop.

Play once. Pointing to any picture counts as a response.
3. Early Math Review
- On poster one, 1 has one sun.
- On poster one, 2 has two ears.
- On poster one, 3 has three leaves.
Count only the main poster's bottom strip. Poster two is not a counting task.
4. Action and Choice
Model three empty-hand options: point to a picture, open a hand, or rest both hands. Amara may choose one or finish immediately.
5. Science Review Boundary
The cards are conversation examples. Do not look at the sun, make loud sounds, give plant-care responsibility to Amara, approach animals, impose one family schedule, or conduct a melting or evaporation experiment.
No Testing or Correction
Do not cover a picture and ask what Amara remembers. Do not require all six ideas in order, score, or treat silence as lack of learning.
