Colour Plus Name
Today we place one colour word before an object name: red ball, blue boat, and yellow cup. The colour word describes this poster. Amara does not need to identify every colour or receive right-or-wrong feedback.
Today's Approach
Amara is about 2 years and 7 months old. Keep each activity to 3–8 minutes. Looking, pointing, moving, saying one word, staying quiet, pausing, or declining all count. Use only the poster and audio; use no coloured toys, swatches, or other objects, and do not run a colour test.

Goals

1. Chinese Picture Talk
Time: 5–8 minutes.
Point to panel one: “这是球，画成红色，我们可以说‘红球’。” Then model “蓝船” and “黄杯子.” Say colour first and name second without requiring Amara to use the same order.
If she says only “球,” uses another colour word, or simply looks, repeat the target phrase once naturally. Do not say “wrong” or demand another answer.
2. English Time
Time: 3–5 minutes.

3. Early Maths: 1, 2, 3
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Count only the separate bottom strip: one complete red ball, two complete blue boats, and three complete yellow cups. Ignore boat windows and cup handles.
4. Movement, Everyday Life, and Boundaries
Time: 3–5 minutes.
For each panel, the adult pauses a finger on the coloured surface and then traces a small circle around the whole object: “colour plus name.” Amara may join, watch, or stop; she does not need to search the home for matching objects.
Safety and Development
Screens, printing, and lighting can shift colour appearance, and children's colour discrimination develops at different rates. Do not score, repeatedly correct, or infer ability. Today simply shares the poster's colour words.
