Today we place a size word before a name: big bear, small mouse, and long scarf. These words describe the way this poster is drawn. They are not permanent properties, and they never evaluate a child's body.
Today's Approach
Amara is about 2 years and 7 months old. Keep each activity to 3–8 minutes. Looking, pointing, moving, saying one word, staying quiet, pausing, or declining all count. Use only the poster and audio; use no toys, scarf, ruler, or other objects, and never measure or compare her body.

Goals

1. Chinese Picture Talk
Time: 5–8 minutes.
Say, “在这张海报里，熊的图画得大，我们说‘大熊’；老鼠的图画得小，我们说‘小老鼠’。” This is a relative visual description across these illustrated cards, not a claim that every bear is permanently “big” and every mouse permanently “small.” Another image or viewpoint may support different words.
Then point to the scarf: “围巾从一端到另一端很长，我们说‘长围巾’。” 长 describes length. It does not mean “tall,” and it should not be mixed with 高 or 矮.
2. English Time
Time: 3–5 minutes.

3. Early Maths: 1, 2, 3
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Count only the separate bottom strip: one complete bear, two complete mice, and three complete scarves. Ignore ears, tails, the bow, and scarf fringes.
4. Movement, Everyday Life, and Boundaries
Time: 3–5 minutes.
While seated, the adult widens the space between two hands slightly for big, brings them closer for small, and glides one hand horizontally for long. Amara may watch, join, or stop. Do not stand her up for height comparison or discuss weight, thinness, or body parts.
Safety and Development
Size words describe the current pictured objects; they do not evaluate worth, ability, or a person's body. Use no real scarf today. A real long cord or scarf can create an entanglement risk around the neck or without supervision.
