Gravity and Motion on a Slope
Today two A4 posters show movement toward the ground and along a slope. This is picture observation only; no real object is dropped, rolled, or pushed.
Today's Approach
Amara is about 2 years and 8 months old. Keep each activity to 3–8 minutes. Looking, pointing, one word, quiet, pausing, or declining are valid. Do not quiz, correct, score, rank, reward, force repetition or performance, or require eye contact or touch.

Goals

- Safety: do not drop objects from a height or roll, push, or chase real objects today.

- No ball, board, block, or furniture, and no dropping, rolling, sliding, or climbing experiment.
1. Chinese Picture Talk
Time: 3–8 minutes.
Point to a down arrow and say, “重力让物体受到朝向地球的作用；图里这个方向是向下。” Then point to the slope: “圆的物体在斜坡上可能向低处滚。”
Amara may watch only an arrow, ball, or diagonal line. She does not need to explain a cause or imitate motion.
2. English Time
Time: 3–5 minutes.

Transcript:
English time. Listen, look, or point. Gravity pulls objects toward Earth. In this picture, that direction is down. On a slope, a round object may roll downhill. The shape, slope, and surface can change how it moves. We only look at pictures. We do not drop or roll real things. One ball. Two down arrows. Three ramps.

3. Early Math: 1, 2, 3
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Count only the main poster's separate bottom strip: 1 ball, 2 down arrows, and 3 ramps. Do not count balls or arrows in the diagrams above.
4. Conditions Affect Motion
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Compare the two picture paths: “斜坡方向变了，低处也变了。”“物体的形状、斜坡陡缓和表面，都可能让它滚、滑或停得不一样。”
Do not teach “all objects roll” as a rule or ask Amara to predict speed.
5. Science and Safety Boundary
Time: 3–5 minutes.
The poster simplifies a three-dimensional world into flat arrows. Near Earth's surface, “down” points toward the ground. Real motion is also affected by support, friction, shape, and collisions.
No Dropping or Rolling Test
Do not drop objects from tables, stairs, or furniture. Do not build a ramp or roll a ball toward a person, pet, road, or staircase, and do not let Amara climb to verify the picture. Adults isolate real objects and height hazards.
