Science, Safety, and Feelings Review
Today two A4 posters bring together this month's later science pictures, safety boundaries, and emotional care. Review means becoming familiar again, not testing memory or treating a point or word as independent competence.
Today's Approach
Amara is about 2 years and 8 months old. Keep each activity to 3–8 minutes. Looking, pointing, one word, quiet, pausing, or declining are valid. Do not quiz, correct, score, rank, reward, force repetition or performance, or require eye contact, a hug, or touch.

Goals
- Chinese: revisit “线索、变化、材料、向下、不同、边界、安慰.”
- English: revisit
clue,melt,light,gravity,different,boundary, andcomfort. - Integration: science pictures support observation, safety pictures retain adult responsibility, and feeling pictures support co-regulation.
- Development: one remembered word or gesture never becomes independent competence in real hazards or emotion.

- No ice, glass, ball, animal, or safety-rehearsal material, and no recreated real-world scenario.
1. Chinese Picture Talk
Time: 3–8 minutes.
Begin with the panel Amara is already watching and say one line at a time: “天气图给线索。”“冰可以融化。”“材料透过的光不一样。”“重力朝向地球。”“生物和身体覆盖有差异。”
At the extension poster, say, “危险和必要照护由大人负责。”“不想触碰可以停。”“安慰可以坐旁边，也可以安静一点。”
2. English Time
Time: 3–5 minutes.

Transcript:
English time. Listen, look, or point. Weather pictures give clues. Ice can melt. Materials let through different amounts of light. Gravity pulls toward Earth. Living things and animal coverings vary. Grown-ups handle hazards, essential care, and public-place safety. Comfort and body boundaries deserve a calm response. Looking, pointing, one word, quiet, stopping, or declining all count. One cloud. Two down arrows. Three feeling circles.

The audio may stop at any point. Do not ask Amara to identify pictures afterward.
3. Early Math: 1, 2, 3
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Count only the main poster's separate bottom strip: 1 cloud, 2 down arrows, and 3 feeling circles. Do not count clouds, arrows, or people in the panels above.
4. Three Kinds of Information
Time: 3–5 minutes.
Trace three visual paths and say, “科学图帮助我们观察。”“安全决定留给大人。”“情绪和边界需要回应。”
Do not require Amara to sort cards or explain the difference. The adult's short statements are the model.
5. Integration and Developmental Boundary
Time: 3–5 minutes.
A toddler may remember words during quiet picture viewing but cannot consistently transfer them to weather, temperature, hazardous materials, heights, unfamiliar places, or intense emotion. Adults continue real judgement, hazard isolation, close supervision, and co-regulation.
Review Is Not Safety Mastery
Do not test temperature, light transmission, rolling or dropping, animal contact, touch refusal, or separation response. Adults handle real risk immediately, and respond promptly to basic needs, distress, stopping, and refusal.
